The Raspberry Candies I Love So Well

The Raspberry Candies I Love So Well

Pictured above is my favorite candy in the whole world. They’re raspberry-flavored gummies covered with crunchy nonpareils, I have no idea who makes them, and I’ve only found them at random in independent grocery and candy stores in the Chicago area. Thus, I have dubbed them the Raspberry Candies I Love So Well.

My mom sent a couple packages in the mail today, which is why I’m posting about them. I only get to have the RCILSW once or twice a year, so today is a special day.

Search online for the RCILSW, and you’ll inevitably come across a product made by Haribo that looks identical. However, this is NOT the same stuff—the Haribo gummies are much harder and don’t taste the same.

Anybody else out there have a mysterious food product they love but can’t identify? What’s your RCILSW?

  1. I have one I can’t find anymore. Zingerman’s used to sell these yummy coffee toffee candies. They came in a can; a little square coffee-flavored piece of toffee covered in chocolate. So good. So elusive.

  2. I love them too! The Haribo brand is actually my favorite but World Market has their own brand of them that they sell in their stores. They’re delicious as well. Unfortunately they don’t sell them on their website so hopefully you’ve got a World Market near you!
