I’m Jason Horn, a food-obsessed writer, adventurous home cook, and sometime culinary student cooking and eating in Birmingham, Alabama.

I’m the assistant editor of Liquor.com and co-founder of the FoodBlogSouth conference. I’ve also worked for CHOW.com, Cottage Living, Cooking Light, and VisitSouth.com.

My food writing appears in B-Metro and Birmingham magazines as well as on MagicCityPost.com. My favorite barbecue is Miss Myra’s, and my desert-island dish is the cold sesame noodles from Lulu’s in Evanston, Ill.
