September 17 through 25 marks the first (hopefully annual) Birmingham Restaurant Week. Dozens of area eateries are offering special three-course prix-fixe menus for $10.10, $20.10, or $30.10.
I’m going to be covering some participating restaurants on Birmingham magazine’s Good Taste blog, and for that I need some input from you, o beloved readers. Go to bhamrestaurantweek.com, check out the list of participating restaurants on the left rail (you can click through to see their menus), and leave a comment here telling me which ones you’d like to see me sample and write about.
And if you’re really excited about B’ham Restaurant Week, grab a ticket to the Preview Party next Wednesday (Sept. 15). And you’ll be doing a good deed: Proceeds for that benefit Railroad Park.

You should write about how much better the Bham Restaurant Week site should have been. Also, Little Savannah and Veranda.
